About me

Why should you consider choosing me as your CBT therapist? I’m an accredited member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). In 2017, I completed a COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills at Glasgow Cognitive Therapy Centre. Then, in 2019, I completed a Diploma in CBT at the Centre, and gained accreditation with the BABCP in April 2022. My accreditation can be viewed here: https://portal.babcp.com//therapist/register.

Since qualifying, I have accumulated extensive experience in providing CBT across the UK, in both NHS and private settings. I have had many successful outcomes in helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals. I place great importance on learning and developing as a therapist and take opportunities to do so.

In terms of my earlier experiences, for over 15 years I worked in a supportive role with vulnerable adults, helping them with issues such as addictions, personality disorders, mood disorders, anxiety and schizophrenia. In 2001, I gained a first-class honours degree in psychology at the Open University.

When I am not working, I enjoy activities such as reading, travel and running.

I am fully insured.
